Hehe, so cool that Alberich is a "scientist." And Robin is stealing his books. That amuses me on so many levels. I hope we'll find out more about ex-human Alberich and his motivations.

Poor Robin, he's so torn between his instincts (to command via fear) and his desire not to chase Angel off again. He's so lost, and trying so hard to strike a balance, but it seems like he hasn't found it yet. He is fortunate that Angel seems both very patient, and very forgiving (at least when it comes to him), much like canon Gojyo.

This made me both laugh and feel bad for Robin and Angel both: "People go to endless trouble for love. I've seen movies." Robin because he clearly has no idea what to do with or about such alien emotions and thoughts, and Angel because he clearly can't conceive of Anyone loving him.
